External Installation Systems
From measured surveys to final handover, I supply and fit external installation systems that protect walls, improve thermal performance and give a neat, long‑lasting finish. Work covers EWI, insulated render, ventilated rainscreen cladding and all associated weatherproofing details. With 17 years' hands‑on building experience and complete insurance, I manage the project so customers don’t need to coordinate multiple contractors.

How It Works
Site survey & specification
I carry out a measured survey, record existing substrates and junctions, advise on suitable systems (EWI, render, rainscreen) and provide a clear written proposal with scope and exposures noted.
Preparation & installation
Work includes substrate repairs, brickwork tying, vapour control, insulation board fixings, basecoat, reinforcement mesh, finish coats or ventilated cladding and all flashings and drip details to achieve a weatherproof façade.
Inspection, handover & maintenance advice
Final snagging, insurer‑backed documentation and a handover pack with maintenance guidance are provided.
Why Choose us for an EWI System?
End‑to‑end delivery
Single point of contact from survey to handover — no need to manage separate trades. Coordination of scaffolding, brick repairs and finish systems is handled on site.
Trusted, durable systems
I install proven EWI, render and rainscreen systems using mechanical fixings, proper membrane detailing and weatherboard cappings to protect against rain penetration and thermal bridging.
Peace of mind
17 years' building experience, Liquid Screed and Brick Laying credentials, £1M public liability cover and an installation guarantee give long‑term protection for your property.
What I install
The service covers external wall insulation, insulated render systems, mineral and silicone finishes, and ventilated rainscreen cladding with aluminium, fibre‑cement or timber facings. Work also includes flashings, cills, window reveals, drip details, breather membranes and mechanical fixings to ensure a continuous weatherproof envelope. I survey each elevation to specify the correct system for the substrate — whether that’s a Victorian brick terrace in Brackley, a modern cavity wall or a barn conversion in the surrounding villages.
How I work
Preparation is key: I carry out brick repairs, cut back old mortar, install insulation boards to manufacturers’ guidelines, embed reinforcement mesh in basecoat and finish with your chosen topcoat or cladding. Where interfaces meet roofs, windows or joinery I fit appropriate flashings, cappings and movement joints to avoid water ingress. Projects are run with clear site notes, a schedule of defects and a professional handover that includes maintenance advice and guarantee paperwork.
