What I do on renovation projects — I take responsibility for the whole programme: detailed site surveys, practical drawings, coordinating structural work, installing screeded floors, plastering and final joinery and finishes. Typical projects include whole-house refurbishments, kitchen and bathroom refits, removing internal walls with proper lintels and brickwork, and re-screeding floors for underfloor heating systems. I work closely with plumbers, electricians and specialist suppliers so services are sequenced correctly and inspected at each stage.
